Assigned Employees
The Assigned Employees screen is used to add or view employees assigned to the template, or to update the rotating schedules of employees assigned to this template.
Note
Only employees with a Home labor distribution that matches the organization unit values entered are included in the results list.
Steps for Adding Employees to a Rotating Schedule Template
To add employees to this template, complete the following steps:

Click on the Assign button to open the Employee Search feature. To use the advanced search fields, click on the Advanced button in the left pane.

Check the box to the left of each employee to be assigned to this template, then click on the icon to add the employees to the list.
The selected employees are now assigned to the template.

These employees will remain assigned to this template unless a modification is made to the template in the employee record or unless the employee is removed using the Remove Assignment button. If a modification is made in the employee record (other than the Effective Date or Expiration Date), the link is broken and the employee is no longer included in the listing of assigned employees.
Action Buttons
Click on the Assign button to open a screen to search for employees to add to this rotating schedule template. The Employee Search screen is displayed. Enter the criteria to search for an employee. Check the box to the left of each employee to be assigned to this template, then click on the icon to add the employees to the list.
To remove one or more employees from this rotating schedule template, check the box to the left of each record and click on the Remove Assignment button. The rotating schedule record is expired in the employee record, with the Expiration Date of the day the Remove Assignment button was selected.
Click on the Update All Assignments button to update the Rotating Schedules screen in the employee record of all employees who are assigned to this template. When any fields in in the rotating schedule template are updated (other than the Effective Date, Expiration Date, or Code) a message is generated that the employee rotating schedules must be updated.

When this button is selected, all assigned employees' records are updated to include the changes made in the Rotating Schedule Template. The previous rotating schedule template is given an Expiration Date of the day this process is run, the Rotating Schedule Template Code is removed from the employee record, and the Is Template column no longer displays a check box.

This update process can be run at any time, not only when an edit has been made to the Rotating Schedule Template record.

The boxes to the left of the employee records do not need to be checked--all assigned employee records are updated.
Note
If edits have been made to an employee Rotating Schedule (other than the Effective Date or Expiration Date), that employee name is not included on the listing of assigned employees, and that employee's rotating schedule is not updated.
