Open Shift Notifications

These preferences determine the notification methods for receiving open shift notifications and other messages.

To set preferences for notifications and messages, complete the following steps.

1. Navigate to Preferences > System Preferences > Open Shift Notifications.

2. Select the Active or Mandatory options for the notification methods that your organization will use.

   Or you can leave both options cleared if you do not use a certain notification method.

   • Active: Enables the notification method

     If you only select the Active option, then the notification method is available but optional for employees to use.

   • Mandatory: Enables the notification method and requires an employee to enter a value for it

     If you select the Mandatory option, the Active option is also selected automatically. When you clear the Mandatory option, the Active option becomes available for you to select or clear.

3. Click Save.
