Current Staffing Overview

The Current Staffing Overview preferences screen allows you to determine which columns are visible in the Compare Staff and Broadcast Shift dialog boxes that you see on the Current Staffing Overview. This system-level preference sets the same columns for everyone who uses the Current Staffing Overview.

To update the visible columns, complete the following steps.

  1. Navigate to Preferences > System Preferences > Current Staffing Overview.

  2. Drag the columns you want to see to the Assigned Columns box.

    The column names with (Broadcast Only) are available only when your organization is licensed for Open Shift Notifications and has it enabled (SYS Application indicator > Mobile Device Standard 1).

    In addition, some of the columns that are used just with Open Shift Notifications appear only in certain situations. For example, the E-Mail column appears on the Broadcast Shift dialog box when sending an Open Shift Notification; however, it does appear when viewing details of a previously sent Open Shift Notification. As another example, the Status column appears for a previously sent Open Shift Notification, but not when sending one.

  3. Drag the columns you do not want to see to the Un-Assigned Columns box.

    The column names shown in dark gray are required to be visible and cannot be unassigned.

  4. In the Assigned Columns box, drag the column names up and down to determine the order they appear in the dialog boxes.

    Even though the required columns cannot be unassigned, you can move them to change their order.

  5. When finished, click Save System Default.
