Preferences Section
The Preferences section opens screens used to customize the defaults and display options for other screens in the Time and Attendance and Staffing and Scheduling system.

The My Preferences card contains screens to set your viewing options. This includes the cards displayed on the home page and TCS, such as bookmarks or default values. Each user can define their own views.

The System Preference card contains default viewing options for all users in the system.

If you configure a screen in the My Preferences card, your preference values override the System Preference values for that screen.

If you do not have access to a particular icon in the My Preferences card, you cannot customize that screen and the System Preference view must be used.

From a selected screen on the System Preferences card, authorized users can reset other users back to the defaults by clearing out their My Preference override values for that related screen. This can be done for all users by selecting the Reset All Users button, or can be done for selected users, by selecting the Reset Users button and then searching for the users to reset.

From a selected screen on the My Preferences screen, you can set your own values back to the defaults set up on the related System Preferences screen by clicking on the Reset button to clear all override values.
Note
The icons that are available for the sections, and also the cards and screens within the sections, are determined by your authorization roles. Explanations for all options are included in this documentation, but some options may not be available to you.
