Exceptions Tab
The Exceptions tab opens a listing of the payroll exceptions created by this employee's transaction entry. Exception messages are generated during the calculations process.
An exception icon (critical, warning or informational) is displayed next to the icon of the employee transaction that caused the exception.
After viewing the exception, authorized users can handle the exception. To indicate an exception has been handled, check the box to the left of the record and click on the Handle Selected button. To undo the handling of this record, check the box to the left of the record and click on the Unhandle Selected button.
Created
The date and time that this exception message was generated.
Description
The label describing the exception definition code.
Posted
The calendar date that this clocking transaction is applied to.
Type
The type of process that generated this exception, such as Calculation, Posting, Interface, Scheduling, or Download Distributions.
