Stations

The Stations screen is where records can be configured as requirements to work a specific profile assignment. Stations are used to differentiate between employees with the same job class/position who are qualified for a work assignment from those who are not. Only employees with matching station records in their employee record are qualified to be scheduled.

 

The following fields are available when adding or viewing a record:

Code

Description

Organization Unit

Code

The short, alphanumeric name or abbreviation identifying the station.

Description

The label describing the station code.

Organization Unit

Enter the appropriate organizational codes for this station. The number of levels available and the label names depend upon your organization or corporate structure, which determines the level where stations are set up.
