Skill

Skill codes can be used to qualify employees for an assignment by their expertise in the Position and/or Station requirements of the Profile. Employees must meet or exceed the minimum Skill Level value to qualify.

For example, a Registered Nurse may need to have a skill level of 3 or higher assigned to his or her RN position in order to be scheduled as a Charge Nurse. Any RN with a skill level value of 3, 4, 5, or higher would qualify.

The alphanumeric short name or abbreviation for the skill.

Description

The label describing the skill code.

Level

Numeric value used to rank the skill codes. Employees must meet or exceed the skill level to qualify.

Note  

Level 1 is considered the lowest level.
