General
The General page is used to configure the basic information on this Range Table. After completing this screen, save the record. The Ranges section button is then available in the left pane to open and configure the ranges for this record.
If available, Indicator and/or Parameter tabs open screens to view settings that determine processing rules specific to the open record.

Assignment Source Classification
The system classification of the assignment source record (Standard, Customer, User-Defined, or Replicated). After entering the Assignment Source Classification, Assignment Source options with the selected classification are listed in the Field Look Up Values.
Assignment Source Code
The short name or abbreviation for the assignment source that relates to this record. These codes are previously set up on
.Note
There are many standard assignment source codes that match the rule being validated. Additional replicated or user defined codes can be added.
Code
The alphanumeric short name or abbreviation for this range of assignment values.
Description
The label describing the range of assignment values.
Is Overlap Allowed
Indicates whether values in the upper and lower fields within a range can overlap each other (Yes/No). For example, one range could be 1-5 and the second range 3-8. This setting may be automatically assigned by the system.
Number
The numeric value identifying this range table record.
Range Table Code
The alphanumeric short name or abbreviation for the range table to be used with this assignment.
Range Table Definition Code
Defines the type of range table used to indicate the upper and lower values of this range.
